Job summary

Covenant Living Communities and CovenantCare Home Health and Hospice in Illinois seek a Dietary Aide Server to support nutritious meals for residents. You will assist in food preparation, deliver dishes, and help maintain clean dining areas under supervision of the Chef or Dietitian.

The role requires a high school diploma and a current Food Handler’s Permit; ServSafe training is a plus. A year of food service experience is preferred, with strong communication and compassionate service to

Qualifications

• Must be able to communicate effectively (verbal and written, English).
• Must be able to read and understand written instructions and follow safety practices.
• Must be cordial and congenial with residents.
• Must be dependable, detail oriented, organized, and have good follow through.

Responsibilities

• Assist in food preparation, hospitality duties, and meal service, including serving food under the guidance of the Chef or Dietitian.
• Deliver dishes, trays, and designated times and rooms.
• Assist in setting up and clearing up dining areas with attention to cleanliness and order Includes dish, tray, trash, leftover removals.
• Follow all sanitation guidelines, federal / state regulations, and Senior Living / Healthcare requirements. Maintain cleanliness of prep items.
• Follow cleaning schedules and perform cleaning duties as scheduled and/or needed.
• Provide customer service and hospitality during nutrition delivery.
