Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a wheelchair-accessible van on daytime routes.
• Transport patients to and from medical appointments and healthcare facilities.
• Assist patients in and out of the vehicle using proper body mechanics.
• Secure wheelchairs and mobility devices before transport.
• Provide courteous, respectful, and compassionate service to patients and families.
• Maintain punctuality and efficient time management throughout routes.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections for safety and readiness.
• Maintain a clean, sanitized vehicle interior.
• Communicate with dispatch and healthcare providers about arrival times and delays.
• Adhere to safety protocols, HIPAA, policies, and traffic laws.
