Job summary

Lynx EMS in Morgantown, WV is hiring a Day Shift Non-Emergency Medical Transport Driver to support daytime transports, including scheduled appointments, dialysis transports, hospital discharges, and interfacility transfers.

You will work closely with EMTs and medical staff to move patients safely and efficiently, loading and unloading using stretchers, wheelchairs, and safety equipment, while maintaining patient comfort and dignity.

Qualifications

• Clean background check and driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 150 lbs and move patients with equipment.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team.
• Reliable, punctual, and professional work ethic.
• Compassionate, patient-focused attitude.
• EMT certification not required for this role.

Responsibilities

• Assist EMTs with non-emergency transports during daytime operations.
• Safely transport non-ambulatory and mobility-assisted patients.
• Load, secure, and unload patients using stretchers and wheelchairs.
• Maintain patient comfort, dignity, and professionalism.
• Keep vehicle and equipment clean, sanitized, and inspection ready.
• Complete required documentation accurately and timely.
• Follow company policies, DOT regulations, and safety protocols.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, facilities, patients, and team.
