Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc. (HCSG) is seeking a Cook to prepare and cook nutritious meals for residents in a long-term care facility. You will follow planned menus to ensure quality, taste, and presentation in a clean, safe kitchen.

Responsibilities include maintaining sanitation, assisting with inventory, and delivering friendly, professional service to residents and staff. Prior food prep experience is preferred; a high school diploma is required and state may require ServSafe or Food

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• ServSafe or Food Handler certification as required by state law.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for extended periods.
• Experience in food preparation preferred.
• Must follow recipes and dietary restrictions.
• COVID-19 vaccination policy compliance.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to planned menus and recipes.
• Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet HCSG standards.
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines; maintain a clean and orderly kitchen.
• Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
