Job summary

The Arcadia Family of Companies is seeking a dedicated Cook to join our culinary team in Honolulu. You will prepare wholesome family-style meals for residents, visitors, and staff, following standardized recipes and serving procedures.

This full-time role offers a daytime-to-evening shift (12:00 pm – 8:00 pm) with competitive hourly pay and comprehensive benefits in a compassionate, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Education/Experience: AA degree or two years related experience or equivalent combination.
• Computer Skills: Basic skills and ability to learn as needed.
• Physical Demands: Regular standing, lifting up to 25 lbs, up to 50 lbs occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Prepares meals according to menus and recipes with sanitary practices.
• Reviews menus and work orders to determine type and quantity of meals.
• Preps, measures and mixes ingredients per recipes.
• Assists driver with meal preparation and loading/unloading for delivery.
• Portions and arranges food for service to waitstaff.
• Follows proper plate presentation and garnish setup for all dishes.
• Labels and dates all food items per storage chart.
• Receives, checks in, and stocks deliveries to appropriate areas.
• Ensures compliance with Hawaii sanitation standards.
• Participates in emergency drills and safety procedures.
• Interacts with residents and coworkers with kindness and professionalism.
