Job summary

Trilogy Health Services in Muncie, IN is seeking a Cook to prepare and serve high-quality meals for residents, following safety and sanitation standards and delivering a positive dining experience.

You will assist with inventory, set up meal service stations, supervise dietary staff when needed, and maintain clean work areas while using technology to support efficient dining for residents and families.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 1–2 years of cooking experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare fresh scratch-made meals using recipes for residents according to planned menus and dietary guidelines.
• Assist the Food Service Manager with inventory control and ordering supplies.
• Properly store food and kitchen supplies to maintain freshness and prevent waste.
• Supervise and support Dietary staff when the Food Service Manager is unavailable.
• Set up breakfast bars, steam tables, and other meal service stations.
• Maintain cleanliness in work areas and ensure all kitchen cleaning tasks are completed.
• Prepare and stock snacks and standard pantry items for resident areas.
• Utilize technology and computerized systems to efficiently and safely create a great dining experience for our residents and families.
