Job summary

Trilogy Health Services in Vincennes, IN is seeking a Cook to prepare and serve high-quality meals that support residents' health. You will follow established safety and sanitation standards and contribute to a positive dining experience.

You will work with the Food Service Manager on inventory, set up service stations, supervise dietary staff when needed, and use technology to create efficient meal service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED/HSE preferred.
• Minimum of 1–2 years similar cooking experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare fresh scratch-made meals according to planned menus and dietary guidelines.
• Assist the Food Service Manager with inventory control and ordering supplies.
• Properly store food and kitchen supplies to maintain freshness and prevent waste.
• Supervise and support Dietary staff when the Food Service Manager is unavailable.
• Set up breakfast bars, steam tables, and other meal service stations.
• Maintain cleanliness in work areas and ensure all kitchen cleaning tasks are completed.
• Prepare and stock snacks and standard pantry items for resident areas.
• Utilize technology and computerized systems to safely create a great dining experience.
