The Palmettos of Parklane is seeking a Cook to join our Food Nutrition Service Team at our Columbia, SC location. The role supports both Part Time and Full Time options with AM and PM shifts, contributing to a compassionate senior care environment.

Responsibilities include following recipes, preparing meals to planned diets, and ensuring timely service. Experience in healthcare food service is preferred but not required, and opportunities for advancement exist.

Responsibilities

• Assist in receiving and storing food and supplies.
• Review menus, production sheets, and recipes before preparing meals.
• Follow standardized recipes and diets, preparing proper portions.
• Test and taste foods for appearance, aroma, and temperature.
• Time meals to meet service schedules for patients and customers.
• Check trays for diet accuracy and deliver meals to floors.
