The Palmettos of Parklane Assisted Living is seeking a culinary Cook to join our Food Nutrition Service Team. This role supports high-quality meal preparation in a healthcare setting, following standardized recipes and portion control to serve our residents and guests.

We offer opportunities in a caring, team-oriented environment with flexible scheduling on AM/PM shifts. Healthcare food service experience is preferred but not required, with chances for advancement and benefits.

Competenze

Healthcare food service experience preferred, not required.
Knowledge of standardized recipes and diet adherence is a plus.
Ability to work AM/PM schedules and multiple shifts.

Mansioni

Assist in receiving and storing food and supplies, date items and store properly.
Review menus, recipes, and production sheets before cooking.
Prepare meals per recipes and diets with correct portions.
Test and taste foods for appearance, flavor, aroma, and temperature.
Time meal preparation to meet service schedules.
Check trays for diet accuracy and deliver meals on time.
