Job summary

MBK Senior Living is seeking aFull-time Cook to prepare meals that delight residents, follow approved menus, and maintain high quality in a busy kitchen. This role supports the Dining Services Department under leadership from the Executive Chef and Director of Dining Services.

You will ensure proper food handling, portion control, and timely service while adhering to safety, sanitation, and regulatory standards. Excellent communication with residents and staff is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; current Food Handler's Certification required; ServSafe Certification required.
• 2+ years of cooking and kitchen experience in a similar environment.
• Ability to obtain background clearances, health screening, and TB test results within required timeframe.

Responsibilities

• Prepare all food items per planned menus and recipes, ensuring high-quality, appealing meals.
• Ensure proper stocking and inventory use.
• Maintain compliance with HACCP and all safety regulations.
