Senior Lifestyle is seeking caregivers to provide high-quality meals to residents, guests, and staff in a warm, team-oriented environment. The role focuses on preparing meals per the daily plan, serving on the food line, and upholding safety and sanitation standards.

Applicants should have production cooking experience, English communication skills, and a willingness to obtain necessary licenses. Proficiency with Excel/Word and a collaborative, solution-driven mindset are valued.

Qualifications

• Experience in production cooking and/or preparing therapeutic diets is preferred.
• Must communicate clearly in English.
• Willing to obtain food handling and sanitation licenses.
• Basic computer skills; entry-level proficiency with Excel and Word required.
• Ability to make independent decisions when warranted.
• Ability to solve practical problems with limited standardization.
• Maintain a positive, friendly demeanor toward residents and co-workers.

Responsibilities

• Prepare all food using the daily planner and SLC standard recipes.
• Work the food line during mealtimes.
• Ensure that all food meets safety guidelines and sanitation standards.
• Ensure resident and guest satisfaction by responding quickly to needs.
• Maintain a positive and professional demeanor toward residents, visitors and co-workers.
