Job summary

The Salvation Army Helena Corps is seeking a Social Services Case Worker to support direct assistance requests and manage case files. You will prepare service vouchers for utilities, rental and transportation needs, and coordinate with community partners to connect clients with resources.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or higher in social work or related field.
Minimum of one year of experience in social work, customer service, or working with at-risk or in-need population.
Knowledge of local resources and ability to refer as needed.

Responsibilities

Answer incoming phone calls and determine the most appropriate resolution.
Prepare and process all approved service vouchers; utility, rental, transportation, gas assistance, etc.
Create case files as appropriate in WellSky database.
Maintain and update client information.
Generate reports as needed.
Receive and respond to correspondence.
Provide administrative support to department head.
Assist with intake and front desk as needed.
Perform other administrative functions as requested.
