Job summary

Harmony Senior Services in Greensboro, NC seeks a compassionate CNA/Direct Care Giver to assist residents with activities of daily living and promote independence.

You will support activity programs, document care thoroughly, respond to emergencies, and coordinate with the nursing team while maintaining confidentiality. A current CNA license and the ability to lift are required; flexible schedules include weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must possess current CNA license from the State and in good standing.
• Effective verbal and written communication.
• Able to work with all levels of personnel.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs, and push or carry 25 lbs.
• Willing to work weekends and holidays.
• CPR/First Aid certification required or willing to obtain within 60 days.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality care and assist with activities of daily living.
• Encourage residents to function at their highest level of independence and participate in activities.
• Report incidents and document appropriately in Daily Log and clinical records.
• Perform housekeeping duties as directed by supervisor.
• Respond promptly to resident calls for assistance or emergencies.
• Assist in planning and conducting activity programs for residents.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident information.
