Job summary

Creative Solutions in Healthcare seeks a dependable Transportation Aide – CNA to safely transport residents to appointments and activities while delivering compassionate care. This role also supports CNA duties when not driving.

You will drive residents with a valid license, monitor safety and comfort, and report changes promptly. A Texas CNA certification and clean DMV record are required; training includes the Employee Driver Proficiency program.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Age 25 or older for insurance requirements.
• Texas Nursing Assistant Certification (CNA).
• Pass DMV check and qualify for company insurance.
• Complete Employee Driver Proficiency program.
• Excellent communication, patience, and attention to detail.
• Comfortable with caregiving and safe vehicle operation.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport residents to medical appointments, therapy sessions, and activities.
• Monitor safety and comfort during transport.
• Observe changes in residents’ condition and report concerns promptly.
• Assist residents with mobility using assistive devices and proper technique.
• Record vitals when needed during transport.
• Support CNA duties in the facility when not transporting residents.
