Job summary

Lutheran Senior Services is seeking compassionate CNAs to provide daily supportive care to residents in a collaborative, person-centered setting. You will assist with activities of daily living, meals, and therapies under licensed staff, while maintaining dignity and building relationships with residents and families.

Responsibilities include documenting care, reporting changes to nurses, and contributing to care/service plans.

Qualifications

• Must be able to communicate with residents.
• Experience with direct patient/resident care is preferable.
• Must be part of a person-centered care team.

Responsibilities

• Maintains residents' comfort and provides daily living activities per scope of practice.
• Supports personal care needs and preserves residents' dignity.
• Observes residents and reports changes to the nurse.
• Participates in care/service plans to improve residents' lives.
• Assists during mealtimes and feeds residents needing full assistance.
• Builds meaningful relationships with residents and families with compassion.
• Assists residents in daily activities and decision making.
• Assists with therapies and treatments under licensed staff.
• Documents care provided in clinical records.
• Maintains a clean and safe environment.
