Lutheran Senior Services is seeking a compassionate CNA to provide daily supportive and functional care to residents in a collaborative, team-based setting. You will work under nursing leadership to support residents as the directors of their own care.

Responsibilities include assisting with activities of daily living, observing residents closely, and documenting care accurately in clinical records. A focus on dignity, respect, and meaningful resident-family relationships is essential.

Qualifications

• Must be able to communicate with residents clearly and compassionately.
• Prior experience with direct resident care is preferable.

Responsibilities

• Maintains residents’ comfort and provides ADL-based care; responds to call lights and requests.
• Assists residents with personal care and helps maintain dignity by promoting independence.
• Observes residents for changes and reports to the nurse.
• Participates in care/service planning to improve residents’ lives.
• Assists during meals and feeds residents needing full assistance.
• Builds meaningful relationships with residents and families with compassion and professionalism.
• Supports residents’ involvement in daily activities and decision-making.
• Assists with therapies and treatments under licensed staff guidance.
• Documents care provided in clinical records.
• Maintains a clean, safe environment.
