Lutheran Senior Services in Kentucky is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to provide daily supportive and functional care to residents under nursing leadership.

You will work as part of an interdisciplinary team, assist with activities of daily living, and support residents' involvement in decision making regarding their daily activities. This role requires good communication and reliability to maintain resident dignity.

Qualifications

• Must be CNA certified in MO/IL; PA enrollment within 120 days of training completion.
• Ability to communicate with residents clearly and empathetically.
• Prior direct patient/resident care experience preferred.
• Desire to be part of a person-centered care team with flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Maintains residents’ comfort; provides ADL care per scope of practice and observes/responds to call lights.
• Handles personal care needs and supports residents to maintain dignity and independence.
• Observes residents to identify changing needs and reports to the nurse.
• Participates in residents’ care/service plans to improve quality of life.
• Assists residents during meals and feeds those needing full assistance.
• Builds meaningful relationships with residents and families; delivers care with compassion.
• Supports residents’ involvement in daily activity decisions and participation.
• Assists with therapies and treatments under licensed staff supervision.
• Documents care provided in clinical records accurately.
• Maintains a clean and safe environment in accordance with policies.
