Qualifications

• Licensed CNA in good standing.
• Minimum 6 months CNA experience.
• Desire to serve the ill and elderly.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Ability to interact tactfully with residents, families and staff.
• Must be in good health with emotional stability.
• Able to work with residents at various maturity levels.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties per facility policies, procedures, and safety rules.
• Make resident rounds at shift start and every two hours.
• Verify resident identification before care or meals.
• Report missing ID bands to admissions coordinator immediately.
• Make beds; clean bedside and overbed tables.
• Ensure water pitchers are clean, filled, and within resident reach.
• Other related duties as assigned by Charge Nurse, RN Supervisor, or Administrator.
