Job summary

Omega Senior Living in Seward, NE is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide routine nursing care per resident assessments and care plans, and support the care team. You will complete shift reports, assist with meals, housekeeping, and lifting; document on flow sheets; report changes to the DON/Charge Nurse.

Must have high school or equivalent, state CNA certification, and prefer prior AL or SNU experience.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school education or equivalent.
• Current CNA certification in the state.
• Licensed CNA with state-approved training and exam.
• Prefer prior experience in Assisted Living or Skilled Nursing Unit (1 year).

Responsibilities

• Provide routine daily nursing care per resident assessment and care plan.
• Complete daily shift report and communicate urgent needs to the next shift.
• Follow policies and procedures and manage tasks within the shift.
• Assist residents with housekeeping, laundry, social needs, and proper lifting techniques.
• Assist with serving meals and cleaning after service.
• Record entries on flow sheets, notes, charts clearly and accurately.
• Report changes in resident condition to the DON/Charge Nurse.
• Maintain certification and participate in ongoing education and trainings.
