Job summary

Omega Senior Living is seeking a Certified Nurse Assistant to provide daily nursing care per care plans and assessments. You will support residents with daily activities, meals, and essential tasks during your shift, while documenting care accurately and communicating changes to supervisors.

You will maintain patient confidentiality, follow policies, and participate in ongoing training and education to ensure high-quality, compassionate care for residents.

Qualifications

• Must possess a high school education or equivalent.
• Current state CNA certification.
• Licensed CNA with approved training and exam.
• Prefer CNA experience in AL or SNU.
• Prefer at least 1 year of CNA experience.

Responsibilities

• Complete the daily shift report and communicate urgent needs to the next shift.
• Follow policies and procedures and manage tasks within the shift as directed.
• Assist with resident care including housekeeping, laundry, social needs, and proper lifting techniques.
• Assist with serving meals and related cleanup.
• Record entries on flow sheets, notes, charts clearly and informatively.
• Report changes in residents' condition to the DON/Charge Nurse promptly.
• Maintain patient privacy and report any disclosures of PHI.
• Participate in continuing education, staff meetings, in-services and web-based trainings.
