Job summary

Omega Senior Living is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide routine nursing care per each resident's plan. Responsibilities include documenting care, supporting daily activities, and assisting with meals and mobility.

The ideal candidate holds a state CNA certification, a high school diploma or equivalent, and prior CNA experience. Must communicate effectively in English and be able to follow care plans and safety procedures in a residential setting.

Qualifications

• Must possess a high school education or equivalent.
• Current state CNA certification.
• Licensed CNA with state-approved training and any required examinations.

Responsibilities

• Complete the daily shift report and communicate urgent needs to the next shift.
• Perform tasks per policies and procedures; manage tasks within the shift.
• Assist with resident care including housekeeping, laundry, social needs; practice proper lifting techniques.
• Assist with serving meals and essential clean-up.
• Record entries on flow sheets, notes, charts clearly and accurately.
• Report changes in resident condition to the DON/Charge Nurse.
