Job summary

Alden Meadow Park Health Care Center in Wisconsin is seeking a Nursing Assistant to provide daily nursing care under supervision. You will support residents with ADLs, monitor vital signs, and help implement care plans in a compassionate, patient-centered setting.

Qualifications include a nursing assistant diploma or certificate, a high school diploma or GED, CPR certification, and the ability to read, write and speak English.

Qualifications

• Diploma/certificate from accredited nursing assistant program, plus approved competency evaluation.
• Be at least 16 years old with good character and trustworthy conduct.
• Provide evidence of residency and prior employment as required.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Current CPR certificate or obtain within two weeks of employment.
• Interest and/or knowledge in caring for ill, disabled, and elderly.

Responsibilities

• Provide residents with daily nursing care per standards and policies.
• Follow care plans and participate in resident care conferences.
• Take vital signs and assist with activities of daily living as directed.
• Record intake/output and monitor bowel movements and meals.
• Maintain a safe, warm environment and report concerns to the nurse.
• Assist with bed changes, hygiene, and medication-related tasks as assigned.
• Attend in-service education and support orientation for new staff.
