Job summary

The Abbey Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Saint Petersburg, FL, is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide routine daily nursing care according to each resident’s care plan. Qualifications

• Must possess, as a minimum, a 10th grade education.
• Must be a licensed Certified Nursing Assistant in accordance with state law.
• CPR certification or equivalent may be required by state or facility.

Responsibilities

• Identify residents before providing care using wristband/photo ID.
• Record entries on flow sheets, notes, and charts clearly and accurately.
• Report changes in resident condition to Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse promptly.
• Provide daily routine nursing care and assist with activities of daily living.
• Assist with transfers, positioning, and mobility of residents as directed.
• Observe and report any injuries or skin issues; maintain resident privacy and confidentiality.
