Job summary

Qualifications

• Education and/or Experience: Must possess, as a minimum, a 10th grade education.
• Licenses: Must be a licensed Certified Nursing Assistant in accordance with state laws.
• Certifications: CPR is preferred.
• Language/Learning: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business materials, and to write reports and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Identify residents before procedures using wristbands or photo IDs.
• Record entries clearly on flow sheets, notes, and charts.
• Report changes in a resident's condition to the Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse promptly.
• Maintain resident confidentiality and safety of information systems.
• Assist residents with daily living activities and mobility as directed.
• Prepare residents for tests and examinations and notify staff of any concerns.
