Job summary

BAYPOINTE in is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide routine nursing care to residents in Saint Petersburg, FL. You will identify residents, follow care plans, document changes, and support daily activities—ensuring dignity and safety.

Responsibilities include assisting with meals, mobility, and medical tests, while maintaining PHI confidentiality and adhering to facility policies and procedures. CPR is preferred; state CNA license required.

Qualifications

• Must have at least a 10th grade education.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business materials.
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedures.
• Ability to present information and respond to questions from managers.
• Mathematical skills include fractions, percentages, and proportions.
• Ability to interpret various instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Responsibilities

• Identify residents before administering treatments or meals.
• Report changes in a resident's condition to the Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse.
• Record entries accurately on flow sheets, notes, and charts.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident information and safeguard PPE and PHI.
• Observe and report skin breakdowns or pressure areas to prevent ulcers.
• Assist with daily resident activities and mobility as trained.
• Prepare residents for medical tests and transport as needed.
• Follow facility policies and participate in shift nursing reports.
