Job summary

New Richland Care Center is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide routine nursing care under supervision. You will follow care plans, assist with personal care, monitor vital signs and document changes, and help residents maintain comfort and dignity. A calm, warm approach and English proficiency are required.

Training available, with ongoing education and adherence to state requirements for continuing education to maintain CNA certification.

Qualifications

• Must be currently registered and in good standing with the Minnesota Nursing Assistant Registry.
• Background checks completed successfully and ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Ability to maintain warmth, positive atmosphere and calmness in a facility setting.

Responsibilities

• Follow residents' care plans and assist with daily living activities.
• Assist with bathing, grooming, mobility and personal hygiene.
• Observe changes in skin condition and report them promptly.
• Take vital signs and weight as assigned and document results.
• Assist with restorative and rehabilitative activities as ordered.
• Support elimination needs and monitor continence products.
• Operate or be trained on facility equipment as required.
