Job summary

North Point Healthcare & Wellness Centre is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide routine nursing care under supervision. You will work with the Charge Nurse, RN Supervisor, and care team to maintain high-quality resident care.

Responsibilities include resident rounds, assistance with meals, hygiene, mobility, and reporting concerns promptly. Must be enrolled in a CNA program or licensed and able to read, write and communicate in English; strong health and stability

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a CNA program or hold CNA license.
• Minimum 6 months of CNA experience or clinical CNA exposure.
• Willingness to serve the ill, aged and infirm.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Able to work harmoniously with staff and residents.
• Good health and emotional stability.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties per facility policies to deliver quality nursing care.
• Make resident rounds at shift start and every two hours.
• Verify resident ID before care or meals to ensure correct care.
• Assist with meals, transfer, dressing, and hygiene.
• Report concerns to the Charge Nurse promptly.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness of residents and rooms.
