Job summary

Pleasanton North Nursing and Rehabilitation is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to provide routine daily nursing care to residents. You will identify residents, assist with daily activities, monitor changes in condition, and document care accurately under the supervision of nursing staff.

Qualifications

• Must possess, as a minimum, a 10th grade education.
• Must be a licensed Certified Nursing Assistant in accordance with state laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine daily nursing care and services according to resident assessments and care plans.
• Identify residents using wristbands or photo cards before administering care.
• Report changes in resident condition to the Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse promptly.
• Record entries accurately on flow sheets and charts.
• Assist residents with daily activities and mobility.
• Prepare rooms, assist with transfers, and ensure a warm, safe environment.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident information and follow facility policies.
