Job summary

Lutheran Senior Services is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to provide daily supportive care to residents in a team-based setting. You will assist with ADLs, monitor resident status, and document care under nursing leadership.

A focus on resident dignity and independence is essential as part of a collaborative care plan. Ideal candidates hold current MO and IL CNA certifications, with PA enrollment eligibility within 120 days if applicable.

Qualifications

• Missouri CNA certification required.
• Illinois CNA certification required.
• Pennsylvania enrollment or eligibility within 120 days for PA nurse aide registry.

Responsibilities

• Maintain residents' comfort and provide ADLs per scope of practice.
• Assist with personal care and promote independence.
• Observe residents and report changes to the nurse.
• Participate in care/service plans to improve residents' lives.
• Assist during mealtimes and provide full or partial feeding support.
• Build meaningful relationships with residents and families with compassion.
• Support residents' involvement in daily activities and decision-making.
• Assist with therapies and treatments under licensed staff.
• Document care in clinical records.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment.
