Job summary

Beachcreekpostacute seeks a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to support residents with daily activities and nursing care per care plans. Identify residents, record ADLs and vitals, assist with meals and hydration, and follow safety protocols with supervisors.

You will report changes to the Nurse Supervisor, participate in ongoing training, and help maintain comfort and dignity in a respectful long-term care setting in Anaheim, CA.

Qualifications

• Education: Highschool diploma or GED.
• License: Must be a licensed Certified Nursing Assistant in accordance with laws of this state.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.

Responsibilities

• Identify residents before administering treatments, servings meals, etc.
• Record all entries on flow sheets (ADLs, I&Os, meals eaten, vitals, bowel & bladder).
• Record entries using authorized abbreviations.
• Report changes in resident's condition to Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse.
• Transport residents to activity locations and supervise for safety.
• Assist in passing meal trays and hydration program.
• Follow safety procedures and patient privacy rules.
• Assist with admission, transfer, and discharge functions.
• Attend scheduled training and OSHA/CDC in-service programs.
