Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Identify residents before administering treatments or meals using wristband/photo card.
• Use only authorized abbreviations when recording information.
• Report all changes in residents' condition to Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse.
• Record entries on flow sheets, notes, charts, informatively and descriptively.
• Report accidents or incidents observed on shift.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident care information.
• Perform nursing care procedures trained to perform.
• Ensure resident rooms are ready for receiving residents.
