Job summary

New Richland Care Center is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide routine daily nursing care under the supervision of a licensed nurse. The role supports residents according to their assessments and care plans to ensure the highest quality of care.

Qualified applicants must be currently registered with the Minnesota Nursing Assistant Registry, in good standing, and able to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Qualifications

• The CNA must be currently registered and in good standing with the Minnesota Nursing Assistant Registry.

• Ability to cope with the mental and emotional stress of the position.

Responsibilities

• Follows residents' care plans and assists with daily living activities.
• Assists with feeding, bathing, dressing and personal hygiene.
• Positions residents for comfort and safety; helps with lifting, turning and transfers.
• Assists with elimination, incontinence care and perineal care as required.
• Takes and records vital signs and weights as assigned.
• Operates and maintains equipment after orientation.
