Job summary

Grove Creek Assisted Living in Lindon, UT is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide direct resident care in accordance with care plans and facility policies. The CNA reports to the Director of Nursing and other supervisors and supports daily resident needs in a non-exempt, hourly role.

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant in good standing with the state (preferred, not required).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Current Food Handler Permit.
• Must have no disciplinary action in effect against certification.
• At least one year of experience in long-term care (preferred, not required).

Responsibilities

• Provides supportive services to nurse, med tech and other staff as needed and performs duties as assigned.
• Assists resident with ADLs according to care plans and policies.
• Assists with lifting, turning, moving, positioning, and transporting residents.
• Coordinates dining room services during meals, including setup, delivery, and documentation.
