Job summary

Qualifications

• Interpersonal skills required to interact with patients, visitors, physicians, and staff.
• Competent to safely handle medications.

Responsibilities

• Provide for care, comfort, and safety of assigned patients under direct supervision.
• Use proper infection prevention techniques.
• Perform and record delegated nursing care procedures.
• Observe patients and report changes to nursing staff.
• Assist with activities of daily living and mobility as needed.
• Transport medications as required.
• Distribute meals, help with feeding, and manage patient trays.
