Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.

• Current CNA I or CNA II registration with Maryland Board of Nursing Examiners of Nurses and CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Provides care, comfort, and safety of assigned patients under direct supervision of a nurse.
• Assists with activities of daily living: bathing, toileting, oral hygiene, bed linens.
• Records vital signs, weights, and intake/output; observes changes and reports to nurse.
• Prepares and delivers meals, nourishments, and preferred feeding assistance as needed.
• Maintains clean and stocked patient rooms and adheres to infection control procedures.
• Assists with admissions, transfers, discharges, and transports as needed.
• Operates basic medical equipment under supervision and participates in quality and safety activities.
