Job summary

The Certified Nursing Aide (CNA) at MUSC Health provides routine daily nursing care to assigned patients to support safety and well-being in accordance with laws and MUSC Health standards.

This position reports to the unit nurse, requires graduation from a state-approved CNA program, an active CNA license, CPR certification, and may prefer geriatric experience; works 36 hours weekly on an hourly schedule; must be able to lift and assist with patient care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a State-approved CNA program.
• Current state CNA license in good standing.
• CPR certification upon hire or during orientation.
• One year geriatric nursing experience preferred.
