Job summary

Providence Alaska Medical Center is hiring a Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) to support patient care on the unit under the supervision of the RN and charge nurse. You will help maintain a safe, clean, hazard-free environment and ensure clear communication with the care team.

Qualifications

• Completed CNA training program or equivalent combination of knowledge, skills, abilities, education and experience.
• Medical Terminology course completed or pass hospital test within 90 days of hire.
• Alaska Nursing Assistant Certification License required upon hire.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist bedside RN and charge nurse to maintain a safe, hazard-free patient environment.
• Communicate patient needs between patient and RN/Charge Nurse clearly.
• Maintain a clean environment to support patient-focused care.
