Under the supervision of licensed nurses, you will help maintain a safe, clean environment, assist with dining, and ensure effective communication among the care team. This role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and commitment to the Providence mission of caring for the vulnerable.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of Caring Reliably, Culinary Training, ServSafe, and Dining Assistance within four months of hire.
• Completed training as a Certified Nursing Assistant
• Alaska Nursing Assistant Certification License at hire
• Within 30 days of hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association

Responsibilities

• Assist with maintaining a safe, hazard-free environment for patients/residents, families and staff.
• Support patient/resident care under the supervision of licensed nurses.
• Maintain clear communication of needs between patients/residents and the RN.
• Provide dining assistance and related tasks within scope of practice.
