Qualifications

• Completed CNA training or equivalent combination of knowledge, skills, abilities, education and experience.
• Completion of Medical Terminology course or successful hospital terminology test within 90 days of hire.
• Alaska Nursing Assistant Certification License upon hire.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate a safe, hazard-free, clean environment to support patient-focused care.
• Maintain clear communication between patient needs, the RN and Charge Nurse.
• Assist with duties delegated for the shift under supervision.
