Job summary

Qualifications

• Completion of Medical Terminology course or equivalent.
• Successful completion of hospital Medical Terminology test within 90 days of hire.
• National Provider BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
• Six months working with individuals who have mental health and/or substance use disorders.

Responsibilities

• Assist bedside RN to maintain a safe, hazard-free, clean environment for patients, families and providers.
• Facilitate effective communication between patient and RN and complete delegated duties during the shift.
