Job summary

Providence Alaska Medical Center is seeking a certified nursing aide to assist the bedside RN and charge nurse, ensuring a safe and secure environment for patients, families, and providers. You will help maintain a clean, hazard-free space and support patient-focused care throughout your shift.

Under direct supervision, you will communicate patient needs to the RN and Charge Nurse, contributing to collaborative care.

Qualifications

• Completed CNA training or equivalent combination of knowledge, skills, abilities, education, and experience.
• Medical Terminology course completed or hospital terminology test within 90 days of hire.
• Alaska Nursing Assistant Certification License upon hire.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist bedside RN and charge nurse to ensure a safe, secure environment for patient, family, and providers.
• Maintain a safe, hazard-free, clean environment to support patient-focused care.
• Communicate patient needs to the RN and Charge Nurse clearly and promptly.
