Responsibilities

• Provide routine patient care within the CNA scope of practice.
• Assist with personal needs, comfort, and environmental safety.
• Admit patients, complete assessments, and ensure timely documentation.
• Collect and report vital signs, I&O, weights, and other key data.
• Keep the nurse informed of changes in patient condition.
• Scan and document supply charges; assist in reconciling missing charges.
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality at all times.
• Demonstrate competence through annual and unit-specific skills validation.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

Successful completion of an approved CNA course

Additional coursework in medical terminology, technology, or basic computer skills (preferred)
