Job summary

Kenwood View Health & Rehabilitation Center in Salina, KS is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide routine resident care under supervision. You will assist with hygiene, mobility, during therapy sessions and day-to-day activities, while following facility policies to ensure safety and comfort.

The ideal candidate holds a current CNA certification, communicates well in English, and works collaboratively with nursing staff to respond quickly to resident needs,

Qualifications

• Must hold an active CNA certification.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Demonstrates patience, tact and a cheerful disposition while caring for residents.

Responsibilities

• Prepare residents for therapy, activities and physician visits, and transport as needed.
• Answer call lights promptly and assist with daily care.
• Attend in-house training, meetings and on-the-job education.
• Assist with hygiene and grooming; bathe residents as assigned.
• Follow infection control policies and isolation procedures when required.
• Document care and observations each shift for accurate records.
• Present a professional image through dress, behavior and communication.
• Adhere to company standards and protect resident rights.
