Advocate Health is seeking a Nursing Assistant to support nurses with patient care in a busy medical unit. You will assist with daily activities, monitor vitals, document data in the EMR, and help with admissions and discharges while upholding infection control standards.

The role requires a GED/HSED or high school diploma, basic computer skills, and strong communication. Benefits eligible and full-time with a 7am–7pm schedule and rotating holidays.

Responsabilidades

• Assist RN with daily patient care including bathing, hygiene, feeding, and ambulation.
• Measure and document vitals, intake/output, weights, and other data in EMR.
• Perform purposeful rounding and communicate observations to RN.
• Assist with admission, transfer and discharge, room setup, and patient orientation.
• Collect urine/stool/sputum specimens and perform point-of-care testing as directed.
• Run errands, stock nursing area, clean equipment and work areas.
• Assist with patient positioning, transfers, and nutritional needs under RN direction.
• Maintain skin integrity and supply management, use TED hose and sequential devices.
• May remove IVs and perform bladder scans; follow infection control policies.
• Provide age-appropriate care with attention to growth and development needs.
