Job summary

United Methodist Village in Godfrey, IL is seeking part-time care staff to assist residents with daily living and personal care. Available shifts include evenings, nights, and PRN with competitive pay and benefits.

You will help with bathing, dressing, meal support, mobility, and medication reminders while upholding safety and dignity. 18+ and high school diploma preferred; CPR certification or willingness to obtain is required or encouraged.

Qualifications

• High School graduate preferred.
• 18 years of age or older.
• CPR certification or ability to obtain within 1 month.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal hygiene: bathing, dressing, shaving, hair and oral care.
• Assist residents during mealtimes.
• Maintain safe, sanitary environment; handle linens and laundry.
• Transport and accompany residents to dining, activities and outings.
• Remind residents to take medications on schedule from appropriate containers.
• Obtain vital signs and carry out procedures as instructed.
• Report unsafe conditions to supervisor.
• Follow emergency procedures and document care.
• Participate in Resident Service Plan reviews.
• Maintain professional appearance and conduct.
