Job summary

Encore Village is seeking compassionate and dependable CNAs to join our team in Schaumburg. You will provide daily care, build relationships with residents, and help them feel comfortable and at home.

Evening shift 3pm-11pm; duties include personal care, safety checks, reporting changes to the nurse, and completing CNA documentation. We foster respect, dignity, and teamwork in a supportive community.

Qualifications

• Illinois CNA certification required.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide a balance of emotional and physical support that allows an individual to function at their highest level of independence including dressing, bathing, grooming, eating/feeding, bed mobility/positioning, continence care/toileting, behavioral support, ambulation/wheelchair mobility.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment for residents
• Communicates changes in residents' condition and function to nurse immediately when noted.
• Performs assigned tasks as directed by Unit Manager.
• Accountable for completion of C.N.A. documentation which includes progress notes, percentage of meals and fluid taken, bowel sheet, and ADL's.
• Communicates with residents, families and co-workers utilizing a pleasant positive approach.
• Respects Residents Rights for Privacy and Dignity.
