Ochsner Health System is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant for the 9C Medical Telemetry unit at OLGMC. This full-time day shift role (7A–7P) supports patient safety and basic care under licensed nursing supervision.

Responsibilities include documentation, communication with patients and families, and adapting care to diverse patient needs. Preferred candidates have telemetry hospital experience, an active CNA license, and BLS/CPI within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Current state CNA certification is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification to be obtained within 30 days from hire.
• Crisis Prevention and Intervention (CPI) to be obtained within 30 days from hire.
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Hospital telemetry experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Maintain patient safety and cleanliness in care areas.
• Document patient tasks and care provided.
