Job summary

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED preferred, but not required.
• Must have CNA certification with the State Board of Nursing, or be enrolled in a program to obtain certification.
• Maintain continuing education credits annually (minimum 12 hours).
• Possibility of Sanford Driver status with valid license where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living activities and basic health care needs.
• Record vital signs and monitor resident condition.
• Provide psychosocial support and help with meals and personal care.
• Document care and communicate changes to the charge nurse.
