Job summary

Terrace Home Health and Hospice Boise is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide resident care per individualized care plans in a long-term care setting. The CNA will assist residents with daily living activities, transfers, and mobility, under supervision, with emphasis on patient safety and dignity.

Required qualifications include current CPR/BLS certification, a valid Food Handler Permit, and the ability to document care and report changes to nursing staff.

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant in good standing with the state (preferred, not required).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Current Food Handler Permit.
• Must have no disciplinary action in effect against certification.
• At least one year of experience as a CNA in long-term care (preferred, not required).

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living per care plans and facility procedures.
• Assist with lifting, turning, positioning, and transferring residents.
• Coordinate dining room services during mealtimes and deliver meals and supplements; document intake.
