Job summary

Terrace Home Health Springfield LLC is seeking a part‑time Certified Nursing Assistant to provide direct resident care in a long‑term care setting in Springfield, MO. You will support nursing staff, assist with daily living activities, and help maintain accurate care documentation in accordance with policies and procedures.

The role requires a state CNA certification (preferred, not required), a high school diploma or equivalent, current CPR/BLS, and a Food Handler Permit.

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant in good standing with the state (preferred, not required).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Current Food Handler Permit.
• Must have no disciplinary action in effect against certification.
• At least one year of experience as a certified nursing assistant in long‑term care (preferred, not required).

Responsibilities

• Provides supportive services to nurse, med tech and other staff as needed and performs duties as assigned.
• Assists resident with activities of daily living according to care plans and policies.
• Assists with lifting, turning, moving, positioning, and transporting residents.
• Coordinates dining room services at mealtimes, including set‑up, tray delivery, feeding assistance, and documentation.
• Delivers nutritional supplements and documents intake.
• Tracks residents' weight and skin condition as directed.
• Assists with toileting programs and documentation.
• Completes flow sheets and reports changes to nurse and supervisor.
• Follows safety, infection control, and confidentiality policies.
